New Designs In My Zazzle Store!

  It's been awhile since I've posted anything on this blog, but I thought today was as good a day as any to reboot. I've been working a lot lately, mostly on freelance consulting type jobs.   In my spare time, I have been working on some new designs for my Zazzle store. For all of you who have been following me since the beginning, it has been 8 years this month, since I opened my 1st Zazzle store. The Anchored Religious Coffee Mug you see below, was my 1st design on Zazzle. I made it for a religious ministry I was a part of. The Anchor was the logo for the ministry as well as the scripture from Hebrews 6:19-20.

It's amazing how far I have come in designing comparative to my older work. I'm also very blessed by all of those who have supported me as I have grown. It encourages me to keep going. So thank you.

I feel like all I have done on my blogs, FB page, Twitter, and other social media is apologize for being away for so long.  So here goes anyways... I'm sorry. 

I had no intention of being absent for this long. Life threw our family a few curve balls, and of course they came flying one right after the other. 

The good news...

My mother is now 1 year cancer free!

And now I'm a mother too!!

That's right! I've been flailing around unable to get on this wretched piece of technology to update anything or design anything new, because I was pro-creating not 1 but 2 awesome life-forces.

My last post here was last October, and I found out I was pregnant with my boys in November 2014. They were born in June, on the 18th. So obviously they are a bit older now, but that is one of my favorite photos of them. :)

Anyways, so that's what is new with me. I hope to post something new at least every couple weeks as time and my children permit. Gotta work around them now of course... they are the boss right now. 

Speaking of children, I'm crazy over taking photos of them and now I have this intense urge to create or personalize greeting cards, photo books, magnets, and well pretty much anything else I can put their adorable faces on, to send to people for the holidays.

A Whovians Kind of Christmas

I dunno about you but I am a BIG Doctor Who fan. I absolutely love the show. I am really hating that Matt Smith is leaving and I'll probably be sobbing my eyes out, but I am open to the Peter Capaldi's arrival and eager to see how he wears the Doctor's coat & shoes. Which also makes me ponder... what will his quirky clothing item be? Will he have one? So many questions and I am ready to start finding out. XD

But first, there is the 50th Anniversary special featuring my favorite of the new (return of the series) Doctors- The Tenth Doctor- actor David Tennant. The special airs on November 23rd, 2013! I can't wait.

Putting my excitement for the anniversary special aside, I wanted to talk about the Christmas special. This is where we will say goodbye and farewell to our beloved 11th Doctor - Matt Smith and will be introduced to the 12th Doctor- Peter Capaldi. I am eager to see how Peter plays the role of the Doctor and what type of personality the 12th Doctor will have, but I am also left wondering why a Christmas episode must be so sad with the death of the 11th Doctor. :(

I love fractals. I always have. Occasionally I will play around with Tierazon, Agony or Apophysis fractal programs to make my own fractals. I have made some great looking fractals too, but I can't seem to make anything what I have found online. I think fractals look way wicked on products... especially bags.
